Intruments
Need to purchase or rent an instrument? Tone is an essential part of learning to play the violin well. While it may be practical to begin with a rented violin, the sooner a student moves into a violin that can produce a good sound, the sooner he/she will learn how that sound is best created.
OK: The Book Table in Logan - for violin rentals (no website)
Better: Grover's in Ogden - rent to buy options (better quality) https://www.classicalstrings.net
Best: Take a trip to Salt Lake City where you have the following options:
1. Day Music - Instrument rentals and Rent-to-own options. You can make an appointment to ensure best service. They do ship, and for beginning instruments they only rent new or barely used instruments, so if you'd rather you can order from home. There is a nice education that comes with on-site shopping if you decide it's worth the trip.
2. Summerhays.
